Answer
Within the last twelve months 5,023 digital devices have been provided to schools to assist with pupil learning across Phases 2 and 3 of the digital devices project. This delivers action key area 3(x) of the report “A Fair Start”. The breakdown by devices is as follows:
| Phase | iPads | Chromebook | MS Surface SE | Total |
| 2 | 1,012 | 748 | 586 | 2,346 |
| 3 | 724 | 677 | 1,276 | 2,677 |
| Total | 1,736 | 1,425 | 1,862 | 5,023 |
It is the responsibility of individual settings to determine whether these devices are used in school, at home or both.
